Hi I’m Matt Sugai, or Sugai Sensei!
I’ve been working in the health and fitness industry for over a decade now, with my passion for helping people make changes to their lives.
I’ve worked in commercial gyms for over 7 years helping clients and gym members achieve fantastic results and now have shifted my attention to online coaching as well as continuing to work as a tutor for Personal Trainers. The “Sensei” part came naturally to me, as I enjoy teaching and making exercise and nutrition easy to understand.
Some things that you might not know about me:
At the age of 16, I fell into the “obese” category for my BMI (body mass index). I significantly went through a transformation in my late teens, losing a lot of weight (and from now what I know muscle too), and then later on I started to add back the muscle I lost so I know the difficulties that people can face for both fat loss and muscle building.
Every little step counts, I will be able to coach you in realistic ways, that fits your lifestyle to help you reach your goals.
